The Competence Network Food Industry (KNW-E) was launched in May 2011 as a project of the New Regional Policy NRP under the sponsorship of the three Thurgau business associations, the Thurgau Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Thurgau Agricultural Association and the Thurgau Trade Association.

Currently, over 165 companiesinstitutions and private individuals from 15 Swiss cantons and Germany are already deriving (very personal) benefits from their contribution as supporter, partner or patron
