Around 2,600 milk producers from various regions in southern Germany are owners of Omira.
Omira is organised as a cooperative company. The locations for processing the
milk are Neuburg an der Donau and Ravensburg, where the head office is also located. The OMIRA Group currently processes
around 831.9 million kg of milk per year at the two sites. Around 650 employees transform
the valuable raw material milk into a wide range of dairy products as well as important intermediate products
for the food and confectionery industries.
