The Südpack Packaging Group has its headquarters in Ochsenhausen, Baden-Württemberg. The family-owned company, which was founded in 1964 by Alfred Remmele, has a global sales and service network in over 70 countries. The production sites in Germany, France, Poland, India, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the USA are equipped with state-of-the-art plant technology and manufacture to the highest standards, including under clean room conditions.

The company specialises in lidding films, rigid and flexible films and pouches. Printing is carried out using flexographic printing, gravure printing and digital printing processes. Südpack Medica, a subsidiary of Südpack Verpackungen SE & Co KG, produces sterile packaging for the medical sector under cleanroom conditions. The group employs a total of around 1,800 people.
